Soundsoup returns to air live on Resonance 104.4fm for Londoners and for the rest of the world. This will happen every Wednesday at 11pm!!

I play a live sound collage plundered from every kind of recorded media on MP3, vinyl and CD formats. There is almost always more than one track playing at once. Collaging genres that seldom have been heard together into an hour of continuous sonic souffle.

Episode 8 invites audio and visual practitioner Joel Cahen to discuss Interzone Theatre a platform exploring the possibilities of locative media in experimental and interactive story telling about the city. Our conversation sheds light to the different aspects of the project such as the cities it takes place, the influences and inspirations behind it, the merging of psychogeography and psychoacoustics and the importance of sound as a creator of context in the audience’s experience of the environment.

The show will be broadcast on Tuesday 17th of September 2013 at 7:30pm to 8pm @Resonance FM.

Presentation of underwater sound for children with complex needs

7th June: Adele Drake and Joel Cahen of Liquid Vibrations will give a presentation at the International Conference: Music therapy Advances in Neuro-disability: Innovations in Research and Practice which takes place at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, Putney, London SW15 3SW, on the 7th & 8th June 2013. 

The presentation will show the background and description of recent work and is scheduled at 15:15 on Friday 7th June 2013

The Hero with Seven Faces conjures seven archetypes of the creative consciousness mapped out in a surreal 30min walk. Using immersive sound design and narrative to imbue the listener into a parallel interpretation of the urban environment.
